Meet
Cathi Gaylor




Mrs. Cathi England Gaylor, an Inclusion teacher, begins her sixth year teaching in Sevier County in 2009-2010. This year marks her 31st year of teaching. After graduating early from Cumberland College in Williamsburg, Kentucky, Miss England's first teaching job was with Somerset City Schools in Somerset, Kentucky; followed by Oneida Special School District in Oneida, Tennessee. While teaching at Oneida High School, she met and married her husband, Jim Gaylor. Mrs. Gaylor's other teaching experiences include: Anderson County, Blount County, Loudon County and Sevier County.

Mrs. Gaylor received her Masters Degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville as a Reading Specialist. She has taught Resource grades 4-12 in Oneida; Chapter 1 Reading and Math Computerized Labs at Norris Middle and Clinton Middle; Fifth and Sixth Grades at Fairview Elementary; at Claxton Elementary, Clinton Middle, and Greenback; Seventh Grade Reading Classes at William Blount K-8 Elementary; and Inclusion in Sevier County.



Mr. and Mrs. Gaylor have been married for 30 years, and have two sons. The family pet is a miniature dachshund named Beanie Weanie. Mr. Gaylor teaches Algebra at Maryville High School, where he is the Defensive Coordinator in football, and head Baseball Coach.

The Gaylors attend
First Baptist Maryville, where Mrs. Gaylor serves on the Women's Ministry Council. Mrs. Gaylor enjoys a ladies' Bible Study group, sporting events, reading and building her e-commerce business.





The Gaylors are avid Tennessee Vol Fans. They can be found in the middle of the sea of Orange and White watching the Vols and listening to The Pride of the Southland Marching Band playing "Rocky Top" during football and basketball seasons. God, Family, School, Sports, Business keep Mrs. Gaylor very busy!
